Privacy Policy

Duma is a marketing-automation platform operated by Auxo Digital (Pty) Ltd, a company based in South Africa. This policy explains what personal information Duma collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It is written to be plain and honest — if anything is unclear, contact us at oz@auxo.digital.

What we store

• Your account. The email address you sign up with, and the encrypted credentials needed to authenticate you. We do not store your password in plain text.
• Your sales-motion data. The content you create in Duma — workspaces, strategy maps, campaigns, posts, media you upload, approvals, and related notes and metrics. This is your working data and belongs to you.
• Connected channels. If you connect a social network (for example LinkedIn), we store the access tokens required to publish on your behalf. Tokens are encrypted at rest and are used only to perform the actions you request.

All of this data is stored in our backend database (Convex). We do not build advertising profiles from your data.

How we use your data

We use your data solely to provide the Duma service: to authenticate you, to store and display the content you create, to schedule and publish posts to the channels you connect, and to keep the product working and secure. We do not use your content for any purpose you have not asked for.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only with the infrastructure providers that run the service (such as our hosting and database providers), and with the social networks you explicitly choose to connect and publish to.

Your rights (POPIA)

Duma is operated from South Africa and we process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to request its deletion. To exercise any of these rights — or to close your account and have its data removed — email oz@auxo.digital.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal information and content from our systems, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Duma after a change means you accept the updated policy.
